About the Challenge

Move Together. Stand Together.

The Brotherhood Virtual Challenge brings serving and former Royal Marines, veterans, families and supporters together in one collective act of resilience and solidarity.

For one month, we move with purpose - to show that mental health matters and that within our community, no one stands alone.

The Brotherhood Walk - the physical challenge

As thousands take on this Virtual Challenge in their own way, three former Royal Marines - Aldo Kane, Billy Perham and Al Chambers MBE - will be facing one of the world’s toughest treks: The Snowman Trail in the Himalayas. They will be completing 362km to commemorate the 362nd birthday of the Corps, however you dont need to complete that distance (unless you really want to!). The cost of the physical challenge is completely privately funded so every penny raised through the physical trek and this virtual challenge will go directly to the charity.

Set your own goal. Move how you can. Walk, run, cycle or row - every mile counts.

Whether you do 10km or 100km, you’ll be part of a united effort to support Royal Marines and their families through life’s toughest battles.

Different environments. Shared purpose.

While they battle extreme altitude and terrain, you’ll take on your own personal challenge - at your pace, on your terms.

Why It Matters

Mental health challenges affect Royal Marines, veterans and their families at every stage of life - from service through to civilian life and beyond.

By taking part in the Brotherhood Virtual Challenge, you’ll help fund:

 - Mental health support for serving personnel
 - Veteran wellbeing services
 - Lifelong family support when it’s needed most

Your challenge helps ensure that no member of the Royal Marines family ever has to face it alone.
