We are taking on the Brotherhood Virtual Challenge to raise funds for RMA - The Royal Marines Charity.

This challenge is about showing up and putting in the miles, while helping shine a light on the challenges faced by serving and former Royal Marines and their families. Through their Lifting the Lid campaign, the charity is working to break down stigma and improve access to support, particularly around mental wellbeing.

Every step I take helps fund practical support - from mental health services and recovery programmes to financial help for those who need it.

So last 25K will include 15K on the bike today and a 2K swim

Followed by an 8K walk on 6 June along the Caminito del Ray in Malaga

So another 80K on the bike this morning before the heat became to bad. Left my trainers behind so it was completed in sandals !!

My lovely wife is still doing her bit with a 1.4k swim today even though she was a bit weary from a birthday night out 😀

80K smashed out around the track at sports city Coin. 33 degrees was tough but nice breeze in the woods and auto water sprinklers!!

As of 30 May Nick has cycled 80K in and around the lanes and forests of Dorset. Bluebell wood North of Winterborne has been a particular favourite amongst the spring flowers and fauna

Up to 30 May Lorraine has swam 10K with stints of 100 lengths a time in Spain

A gentle start

Lorraine and I started the challenge on 2 May with a 6K walk along the front at Estepona in Spain. That was a blackcurrant and lemonade at halfway point!!
